Environmental fate and effect (GLP) services

The Company’s global network of testing facilities extends to 26 countries, many with multiple locations or satellite facilities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all the key crops. These provide timely delivery of high quality regulatory field and glasshouse studies, to determine the environmental fate and effect of new and existing products – residues (soil and foliar) and ecotoxicology.

The service also offers design and management of trials programs, including defining studies which are required for regional / federal, state and country registration, GLP trials and reporting of data and summaries. Depending on the client’s needs, SynTech Research, and / or its exclusive partners, can provide analytical / processing data and prepare registration dossiers for the EPA, PMRA, EU, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

SynTech Research is able to provide the following  resources, as required by the client:

  • Project Manager, to lead the overall program and be the main SynTech Research point of contact for planning, management and communication, on behalf of the clients, for all phases of a project, across all sites.
  • Study Director, to be responsible for planning and protocol development for the study or studies, interfacing with the client and Project Manager. Along with the Principal Field Investigator, he / she ensures implementation to GLP principles and the required time schedule.
  • Study Monitor, appointed where SynTech Research is not the Study Director, to be responsible for SynTech Research’s phases of a study, working with the Study Director and Principal Field Investigator to ensure that the study is conducted to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Principal Field Investigator, to be responsible for delivering the trial(s) at SynTech Research field testing facilities or, if required, at selected GLP-compliant private independent research stations.
