SynTech US successfully completed some very large trial programs this year.

Biotech trials at its Iowa station included a USDA-regulated field corn nursery planting, with timed male delay.  Techniques included hand and chemical based de-tasseling, ear shoot bagging – and over 4,000 hand pollinations, which greatly exceeded targeted seed counts, with zero contamination.

In California, SynTech conducted two very large field trials of chemistry with a new herbicide mode of action, on broad leaved weeds at its Sanger station. This involved a randomized block design to evaluate four rates on five weed species at three different spray volumes.
