The event focused on higher tier testing, and included presentations, discussions and plenty of laboratory and in-field experience. Topics covered included bee biology, ecology, testing and sampling methods, risk assessment (studies and exposure scenarios), residue studies (sampling crops, hives and bees) and side-effect assessments.

The experience will further equip SynTech staff to carry out extensive pollinator trials programs in 2014.
