Establishment of Arizona field unit
SynTech Research has established a new satellite facility in Maricopa, Arizona. The site will be used for seed/traits, GLP, and bioefficacy field testing. The location gives SynTech GLP capability in US region 9 and is now able to conduct field testing in regions 1, 2, 5, 9 and 10. The site further strengthens the company’s seeds/traits testing capability, as part of a worldwide expansion into this sector.
SynTech Research at CropWorld November 2011
Directors and Managers from SynTech Research Europe and Asia Pacific met a range of clients at the Company’s stand at CropWorld 2011– at the Excel Centre, London 31 October to 2 November.
In attendance were Paul French, Director Asia-Pacific, Colin Ruscoe, Director Europe and Africa, Michael South, GEP Programme Manager Europe and Africa, Isabelle Pronier – GLP Programme Manager Europe, Paolo Viglione – Project Manager, SynTech Europe, and Roberto Dagasso – Regulatory Consultant , SynTech Italy. SynTech used the opportunity for meetings with companies to discuss opportunities and results from its worldwide GLP, ecotoxicology, bioefficacy, public health and regulatory services and facilities.

SynTech Research Spain recognized for work on beneficial arthropods
SynTech Research will be present at the VII Congreso Nacional de Entomología Aplicada, in Baeza (Spain), 24-28 October 2011. Co-authors Eva Garzon and Silvia Aucejo from SynTech Spain will present results of field trials sponsored by Certis, in cooperation with the University of Valencia (UPV). The trials investigated the direct and secondary impact of the insecticide ethofenprox on beneficial insects and mites in Citrus.
In a separate initiative, Bancaja-UPV has awarded one of its valuable annual prizes (for details click here) to Victor Cortés of SynTech Research Spain, for his laboratory project on the effect of a range of insecticides on beneficial arthropods.
GEP and GLP accreditations boost prospects in Germany and Japan
